As Travel Plan Manager, Phillip has over ten years’ experience in principally the private sector. Phillip is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, having previously worked in rail maintenance planning and urban logistics, developing an extensive range of transport skills and knowledge to relate and better direct strategy for delivering end results.
Phillip developed pioneering smarter working practices to increase engagement and productivity whilst minimising travel time, fuel expenditure and associated carbon reductions. Novel approaches to HR / Union negotiation led to the stimulation and crucially the ability to sustain workplace car sharing to ease parking pressures for a major national retailer at HQ and contact centre sites, significantly assisting in the retention of staff with major commutes.
